In 1989, Kaori was struck by a tragic accident that resulted in his blindness. But he clings to the small pleasures that might still be afforded to him by life. As soon as she meets Rui, she begins to converse with him. When Rui was younger, he was a promising kickboxer, but something happened in his past that changed everything. As soon as Kaori smiles, Rui’s face changes and he starts to look more like Kaori. It is important to note, however, that the two are connected in more than one way. In an effort to do what is right, Rui tries to do the right thing.
