Taking inspiration from legends rooted in Arunachal Pradesh, Bhediya tells the story of Bhaskar, a man who witnesses the changes taking place in his body after having been bitten by a wolf. The monster within Bhaskar transforms from a human into a shape-shifting werewolf once he realizes that he possesses the powers of a wolf; however, he is worried that the monster will be a threat to human existence in the local town once he discovers the powers of a wolf.
