Black Adam Movie Story:
Teth Adam was granted almighty powers by the gods in ancient Kahndaq. Due to his abuse of these powers, he became Black Adam and was imprisoned. The legend of Black Adam has been passed down for nearly 5,000 years. The Justice Society, comprised of Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher and Cyclone, challenges his unique form of justice, born of rage.
Review:
The movie Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson, has been doing a roaring business at the box office despite mixed reviews. A new release, Ticket To Paradise, is vying for the top spot domestically. Dwayne Johnson’s film earned $26.8 million on its opening day (Rs 220 crore), including $7.6 million (Rs 62 crore) in previews on Thursday. Across North America, 4,402 locations will screen the DC Comics adaptation.
In its opening weekend, the film is expected to earn over 62 million dollars (Rs 511 crore), making it the first worldwide release to earn over $50 million since Thor: Love and Thunder earned $144 million in July. During the summer season, moviegoing has decreased, and there have been many hopes that theatres will attract a greater number of patrons.
In comparison to other DC films, Black Adam appears to be on the right track. As of the first weekend of release, Aquaman had earned 67 million dollars (Rs 550 crore) and Shazam had earned 53 million dollars (Rs 430 crore). As a result of these films, new characters were brought to life and roaring performances were witnessed in international arenas. As the film was made on a budget of 195 million dollars, it will be important to see how the weeks ahead unfold. The film may continue to make money and not face stiff competition until Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is released on November 11. According to reports, Black Adam earned Rs 6 crore to Rs 7 crore in India. On March 4, The Batman earned about Rs 5.75 crore on its opening day. Additionally, it beat Doctor G (3.8 crore) and Goodbye (less than a crore) on its first day. Day 2 saw Black Adam compete with south releases.
Rotten Tomatoes gives Black Adam a 30% rating with mixed reviews. The story follows Black Adam, a divine being who wakes up after 5000 years and gets entangled with the Justice Society of America. Among the film’s cast are Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.
